Kenosha Band Boosters, Inc.
Supporting Kenosha, Wis. Unified School District music programs.

Volunteer
opportunities
        There's plenty of variety here.

We are looking for people with backgrounds in finance, law, computers, trucks, woodworking and sewing, to name a few talents.

Many of these opportunities can easily fit into busy schedules.

You do not need to be a Kenosha Band Booster member to help; grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors all can lend a hand! However, we do appreciate your willingness to join because the dues help us to financially support the many excellent programs we have in place.

Contact president Keenan Dreger about volunteering.
Here's 24 ways to help:
1. School representatives: Each school needs someone to discuss  during our monthly meetings what is happening with that school's band program and then report to the school's band director and band families about information from the meeting.
2. School Phone
Chairs
:
This person would ask school families to volunteer and help with activities.
3. Telephone Committee: We need someone to co-ordinate phone calls and let school phone chairs know what phone calls need to be made.
4. Historian: We need someone willing to keep track of events throughout the year by collecting concert programs from all the directors, clip relevant articles from the newspaper, and perhaps create a scrapbook of various school and summer band events.
5. Fruit Sale: This annual event in the fall needs organization and distribution volunteers. We also could use a few people to help us start planning for this year's sale. Bring your suggestions!
6. Legal help: A few people with knowledge of the law, particularly about not-for-profits, could help answer questions.
7. Financial help: Same as above, only about money matters.
8. Band-O-Rama: This annual event in February requires help with ticket sales, passing out programs and ushering.
9. Solo & Ensemble Concert : This annual event in March needs guides and room monitors.
